She creaks, the seasoned, grumpy lady, while the rest of the crew lies scattered all over deck and in her warm bosom, lulled by her idling motions, and only Jack is awake for this. For her whispers in the middle of the night, when all is silent and he can hear her call, her soothing old voice repeating his name sweetly until the end of time.

He's laid with countless women in his life, their hands have known every inch of his body and have grown so intimately acquainted with his skin, his lips, his smell, his lies.

But he could never lie to her. She knows his soul just as well, has seen and loved every part of him, he’s spent too much time with her to just leave one day. She’s his ship. He’s her captain. She shall take him to that horizon over and over again as long as he’ll wish, wherever that may be. To just another port or to his end, and when the end comes he will not be alone. Many left, she never will. She was never a curse, he always knew what she really is.

“Mmmh, Marlena…” one of the men mumbles with drunk longing in his sleep.

Jack smiles. His men have ladies somewhere on land, ladies they can only dream of and miss until the next time they sail to the same shores again.

But he is not bound, has no earthly love to force him back on land, because nobody ever loved him like she can.

There is nobody else, nothing else he needs. His lady is right here.

He lets go of the papers he was organizing, and finally looks behind his shoulders, toward the door framing Ainosuke Shindo’s tired figure. His eyes are trained very well to look for signs of malaise, rage, anything that can guide his next action, the words coming from his mouth.

“Hello, Ainosuke-sama,” he attempts, expecting the grunt and brief glare he gets.

“Tell me something good, Tadashi,” Ainosuke says instead, dropping on the sofa and releasing a big sigh as he closes his eyes, head leaning back and eyes closing with a slight grimace on his face.

To be honest, the current campaign seems to be going quite well, the electorate responded enthusiastically to the message Ainosuke decided to spread, and the support groups’ work seems to be bearing plenty of fruit in that sense. Tadashi is at loss for anything more positive to say, so he just frowns before throwing a look at the drafts of Ainosuke’s next address for the Diet.

“The polls for your campaign are soaring, Ainosuke-sama, just today we registered a five percent increase in interest even in the pool of older voters after your last speech-”

“No.” Ainosuke’s voice interrupts him, curt, and Tadashi looks back to know what was wrong. All he gets is a tired, dulled out glare. “I don’t want that now.”

Tadashi opens his mouth, closes it again, looks at the draft once more as if the answer was meant to be there.

“What should I tell you about?”

A brief silence stretches in the room, and finally Ainosuke deflates, closing his eyes.

“Whatever. I’m tired.”

Tadashi’s shoulders relax. Tiredness, that he can deal with.

“Shall I prepare a hot bath for you?”

A hum comes from Ainosuke’s nose, and then his eyes open lazily.

“Sure.”

Tadashi nods, and hurrying to the bathroom he feels it on his nape again, Ainosuke-sama’s gaze following him all the way through.

Tadashi is reached in the bathroom a few minutes later, as he tests the water with a hand to make sure the temperature is optimal, and he hears the sound of Ainosuke smelling scented salts in the air. Tadashi straightens up, and immediately feels the air tighten again, but it’s different from ten minutes ago, now.

The buzz goes straight to his stomach, warm and liquid. It makes him shiver, when he hears the unequivocable melody of a belt sliding off its loops, a shirt slipping away, and when he turns he also gets to slide his eyes down Ainosuke’s naked torso, just for a moment, and then up to his flaring red eyes. That tension lasts for a few more moments, and then Ainosuke tears his eyes away, to the tub that’s filled with a soft, bubbly layer of soap. Tadashi looks away, unaware of the lovely shade of pink layered on his cheeks, and only hears quiet, splashy sounds after a zipper being lowered, trousers being carelessly taken off and thrown to a corner of the bathroom. Not to worry, he has had time and plenty of chances to train his thoughts away, to at least look indifferent whenever he is in the same room with his naked boss. His boss who’ll occasionally bend him over the desk and split him open making him cry and whine and pray, making his insides melt and his thoughts vanish in a pleasant grey haze tinted with boiling red pain. He knows how to not think about it, except for when he catches himself doing exactly that.

When he looks at Ainosuke again, he is lying in the tub with his eyes closed, hands on the lips of it, head tilted back and eyes closed, peaceful, as a thin fog already liftsin the room.

Tadashi’s job is done for today. He elects to ignore that tension, decides not to even attempt at reading it, but just as his hands wrap around the door’s knob Ainosuke’s voice halts him right there, reaching his stomach first.

“Stop right there.”

Tadashi, somewhat unwillingly, turns his head and looks back.

“Do you need something else, Ainosuke-sama?”

“Yes,” Ainosuke says, quietly. “Tell me something good.”

This again ? Tadashi looks back at him, biting his lip in slight frustration.

“What is it that you want from me, exactly?” He finally asks, and Ainosuke’s eyes edge open as he looks at him. His gaze drifts to the wall now, his voice grows softer. It doesn’t sound impatient, it doesn’t tremble with anger. It sounds almost petulant, like the voice of a shy child.

“I need to hear good things. About me.”

Even from the door, Tadashi can notice the almost imperceptible shade of red spreading across Ainosuke’s face, and his chin lifts in understanding, eyes clearing.

“Ah.”

It’s one of those days, then.

He rolls his sleeves up, covering the distance between them with a renewed confidence - the kind of pride a humble one like him would only get when he’s the only one who can help.

He sits on the edge of the tub, slides his fingers slowly through Ainosuke’s messed up hair, and even has his master’s hot shivers on his own fingertips as they slide down and go back to the top of Ainosuke’s forehead, petting through his hair again a few times.

“You are doing a wonderful job, Ainosuke-sama,” he starts, voice steady and honeyed with honest adoration which flows through his entire body as his fingers gift relaxing waves to Ainosuke’s body. “There is no reason for you to worry, everyone is happy with what you’re doing. Everybody loves you.”

He halts himself just short of spouting something else, and Ainosuke hums. Tadashi looks at him, and maybe it’s the hot fog wrapping them up but it looks like Ainosuke’s eyes are piercing right through him, right then.

“More,” Ainosuke demands, still imprisoning him with that cruel stare.

“There is no woman or man who can resist your pull, Ainosuke-sama,” Tadashi continues, feeling like this is somewhat cheesy, but Ainosuke’s eyebrow tilts up in interest. “Everybody wants you. Everybody wants to be you.”

“What about you?” Ainosuke asks, voice low but rumbling. Even more demanding - a bit forceful, even.

“Sir? I don’t understand.”

But he does. He understands all too well.

He swallows around a thick knot that formed so quickly in his throat, and tries to will his blood into not flooding his cheeks.

“Keep your innocent act for another time,” Ainosuke says, his face nuzzling into Tadashi’s side. “Do you want me?”

“I have-”

“Don’t fucking say that,” Ainosuke stops him with a hiss in warning, and the glare he turns to Tadashi seals his lips instantly, making his whole body grow tense. “If I hear those words from you again I’m going to stop talking to you altogether.”

Tadashi gasps, softly, his hand stops moving through Ainosuke’s hair. He thought his master had given him a tiny bit of control with his request for praise, and yet he’s pulling on the leash again. Reminding him who has the command, here.

He knows perfectly well how Tadashi feels. He’s known since they were teenagers, probably. Since when Tadashi blushed and pressed a quick, feathery kiss to Ainosuke’s cheek, and then blushed more, and then trembled like a leaf before grabbing his skateboard and rushing to the empty pool. Back then, Ainosuke could even imagine to hear the fading sound of his heart fluttering furiously like a bird fighting against the cage.

And yet, Tadashi was not led to believe Ainosuke cared what he felt. What he thought. Especially since that day when Tadashi abandoned him, convincing him that he truly was completely alone in the world at such a tender age.

“I… is what I want even important?” He asks, his voice low, trembling with doubt.

“I just want to know. What do you feel, when I fuck you?”

The languid tone before the language has Tadashi’s cheeks turn red violently, his breath turns labored as he looks around, for some kind of helping hand somewhere. But it’s just him and Ainosuke, right now. Ainosuke, wanting to pry him open and leave no escape.

“I feel… I’m not sure I’m allowed to want,” he stutters. “Much less, that I’m allowed to want anything from you.”

Ainosuke’s lips twist in a grimace, and finally he clicks his tongue.

“Pisses me off,” he mutters, and his nostrils flare. “It pisses me off when you do this.”

And then the space between them fills up with silence, apparently ending the conversation here.

The heat in the air has grown thick, it might even become suffocating, or at least it feels that way when Tadashi’s breaths become heavier, and he takes a shallow sigh.

And then his body falls to the side. He loses his balance out of nowhere, sees the room spin and then water drenches his clothes, his body twitching with surprise as Ainosuke’s arms wrap around his waist, holding him closer than he has any right to be.

“What do you feel right now?” Ainosuke’s voice rumbles, thick with hot vibrations and extremely close to his ear. Tadashi whips his head around as much as he can, meeting Ainosuke’s eyes so close, pulsating with the same heat as when Ainosuke looks at him, whenever Tadashi is kneeling between his legs. “What do you want?”

Tadashi fights, but not too hard. Definitely not hard enough. He goes still, like a rabbit knowing it can’t run anymore. He’s only left pleading silently with his eyes.

He’s not allowed to want. He’s not allowed desires.

He has not allowed himself to nourish any.

“Ainosuke-sama…” he whispers, forcing anything else to stay inside.

Because yes, of course he wants. His want for Ainosuke has been burning right under his skin since one afternoon, when they were lying on the grass, looking at the bushes of roses, and Tadashi turned his head to look at Ainosuke and say something. Maybe it was the angle at which sunlight was caressing him, maybe it was the combination of the scent of roses and the warmth and the taste of candy in his mouth, maybe it was the thrill of having seen his friend land his first fakie without ending the trick curled up on the floor.

But he does remember that want, and it never leaving him, not even after he tried getting rid of it by leaving a clumsy kiss on the lips he wanted . Not even when he was pushed into betrayal, not when Ainosuke looked at him right after with crimson venom stabbing him coldly. Not when he looked at the plane lift from the ground, hands empty after carrying his bags.

Not even after years of being parted from him, while slowly being trained to become a blank slate that only existed to serve the Shindo family with the least amount of mistakes and slips. He became nearly perfect for the role he was meant to play, and yet Ainosuke just kept edging close to unraveling him completely from the moment he stepped back into his home, years later, deciding he would not suffer the loneliness, at least, if he allowed himself to use Tadashi’s body. Each touch burning his skin, making Tadashi’s heart throb and making his want scream.

And yet his behavior seems to have really changed, since that race at S. He does not have that powerless fury behind his eyes at all times, anymore.

“Tadashi,” Ainosuke says, “it’s all okay. I know how you feel. I just want to hear you say it.” And then his gaze turns commanding. “So say it.”

Tadashi’s fingers tighten into fists, his whole body grows stiff. Where does sadism start, and forgiveness slip through?

He fights silently for a few seconds, pondering, trembling at the idea of finally just doing it - saying a few simple, terrible words that have always rested on his tongue, maybe just waiting for the best time to roll out.

And then they do.

He tilts his head back, leaning it against Ainosuke’s shoulder, and ignores the water wetting his hair as his eyes fall close.

“I… want to be by your side forever, Ainosuke-sama. Even if it means being hated forever. I’d rather be hated than forgotten.”

It’s pathetic, really. Begging to be kept, begging to be resented and hurt day after day if it means being allowed to love the man he serves.

He grows very aware of his body, of his clothes floating around his body, of the water’s heat, of the shape of Ainosuke’s body under his own. The proximity of Ainosuke’s mouth when he whispers to him, smirking.

“That was good, pet. But I thought I made it clear, that’s what I want too.”

Tadashi shakes his head, and brings Ainosuke’s hand to his chest, daring to twine their fingers together.

“It’s not that easy, for me,” Tadashi hums, eyes staring at the ceiling. “I have spent so much time thinking you were going to throw me away. Thinking you would chase me out from one moment to another. And all that time you were in America…”

His words trail off, Ainosuke’s hand slides up just in time to feel his throat bob.

“Tadashi…” Ainosuke’s voice sounds low, weak.

“It’s not easy for me to think you might actually want me around, when I’ve spent almost a decade being sure of the opposite.”

Ainosuke leans his head back again, quiet, his smirk disappearing.

“I’m sorry,” he breathes out, finally, almost with the tone of a secret. “I did not treat you how you deserve to be treated.”

Tadashi’s breathing stops, just for a moment, and then he whips his head around, looking at Ainosuke with eyes wide and jaw dropping.

Instead, Ainosuke lifts his hand, placing it on Tadashi’s neck, thumb rubbing along the vein there. Tadashi looks in his eyes, and finds no wrinkles of tension around them.

“You always did what you thought was best, didn’t you?”

Tadashi bites his lip, lowering his gaze.

“I... yes, I guess so. All I have ever cared for was you. Exclusively. And I have made mistakes because I thought what was best for you was up to me.”

Ainosuke slides his thumb up and down the jugular, finally grabs Tadashi’s nape and pulls him closer, gradually, pressing their lips together.

“You’re such a good puppy,” Ainosuke says, dragging his fingers through Tadashi’s hair and then patting his head.

Thank you. Sorry .

Tadashi understands. He turns around completely now, settling comfortably on Ainosuke’s lap, and hugging his body with a boldness he did not have before. Ainosuke lets him. Wraps his arms around him for a bit, and then whispers in his ear, “you’re not done cheering me up. Are you, pet?”

Tadashi, with his eyebrows creasing, tilts his head.

“What should I do?”

Should he say it? No, that sounds so stupid. Silly .

Tadashi looks at him, waiting, and seems to completely depend on Ainosuke’s lips.

“Just…”

Ainosuke’s hands lift, reaching Tadashi’s lips and pulling their corners, forcing them into a smile. Tadashi frowns, blinking, and finally his lips become pink as the pretend smile turns into a real one.

Adam’s face reflects the expression.

So silly.

Sousuke lo guarda, alzando un sopracciglio.

"Beh, non ti ho mai detto che ti avrebbero lasciato andare. Ci ho messo io una buona parola, adesso ti troveremo un lavoro e ti faremo ripagare il valore di quello che hai rubato in quel modo," risponde senza scomporsi.

Nagisa sbuffa, e chiude gli occhi.

"Avrei preferito rimanere al bordello," risponde. "E comunque te l'ho già detto: non ho rubato nulla! Credevi di avermi visto rubare qualcosa e sei saltato a conclusioni!"

Sousuke lo guarda, le braccia incrociate.

"E io ti ho già detto che comunque hai rubato altre volte. Abbiamo collezionato un bel po' di denunce, e non posso lasciarti andare solo perché questa volta non hai rubato."

Gli occhi di Nagisa si fissano su di lui, e poi si alza avvicinandosi, abbastanza da farsi sentire solo da lui.

"La mia offerta è ancora sul tavolo, sai?"

Sousuke immagina quelle labbra carine e morbide attorno al suo cazzo, non può farne a meno. Non si perde ad immaginare come possa farlo sentire, invece poggia una mano sul petto di Nagisa e spinge, allontanandolo.

"E la risposta è ancora no. Siediti."

Nagisa fa una smorfia, prima di tornare al suo posto con un sospiro.

Sono qui da qualche ora, e anche Sousuke vorrebbe tornare a casa, mettere i piedi in una bacinella di acqua calda e dire addio alla giornata, ma il protocollo è questo. Anzi, a dire il vero il protocollo sarebbe stato: portare il ragazzino in centrale, farlo chiudere in una cella per la notte e tornare il giorno dopo. Ma gli ha fatto una promessa - che l'avrebbe aiutato ad uscirne il prima possibile e senza troppe ripercussioni. In fondo questo è un ragazzino dei bassifondi, abituato a pescare cibo e materiali di qua e di là, a discapito di qualcuno o no. Forse non è sempre stato così, forse la condizione della sua famiglia è stata quella di aver avuto tre brutti mesi e l'aver perso tutto. Non sarebbe il primo, e non sarebbe il primo ladruncolo che Sousuke abbia mai arrestato. Però deve essersi ammorbidito. Deve aver visto qualcosa, nel ragazzo.

"Sei stato arrestato altre volte?" Gli chiede, rompendo il silenzio fra loro mentre alla centrale il brusio impegnato si trasforma in chiacchiericcio di fine giornata.

"No," Nagisa risponde, e Sousuke non può non notare il tono baldanzoso nella sua voce. Chiaramente, non è solo una questione di sopravvivenza.

"Hai mai pensato che sarebbe successo?" Sousuke continua, guardandolo dall'alto con una chiara nota di irritazione nella voce.

"No," risponde di nuovo Nagisa. "Non ho tempo di pensarci. Non ne ho neanche voglia. Ho sempre pensato: 'se succede, succede'."

"Non sembra nemmeno che ti interessi," dice Sousuke, aggrottando le sopracciglia.

"Forse è così," borbotta Nagisa fra i denti.

Sousuke lo guarda, e ora stringe i pugni. Ne ha visti tanti, di ragazzi così. Non è al mondo da tanto tempo, eppure li ha visti spesso, adolescenti che preferiscono rivolgersi agli affari illegali dei bassifondi piuttosto di provarci, a vivere nella parte della città sotto il sole. Eppure questo ragazzo sembra fatto di pura luce solare, sembra splendere anche nei vicoli più in penombra, e sicuramente Sousuke l'ha visto splendere nel buio del bordello, a cavalcioni su qualche farabutto. È incredibilmente bello e sembra sveglio, potrebbe davvero scegliere qualcosa di più conveniente, di più stabile.

Però, forse, come gli altri ragazzini della città, non è mai stato guardato in quel modo da nessun altro. Forse tutto quello che si vede, sotto il sole, è chi ha avuto fortuna. Tutti gli altri vivono al buio, rintanati nelle loro piccole case a sopravvivere di piccoli furti e lavoretti brevi. Forse si illudono che stia loro bene così. O forse è così che sono cresciuti, così che hanno imparato a fare dai loro genitori. Forse è un ciclo rischioso, pericoloso, ma è anche l'unica cosa che conoscono. Forse è così anche per Nagisa.

Come previsto, Sousuke alla fine accompagna Nagisa alla propria cella, la mano sulla sua spalla. A quanto pare, nessuno ha avuto tempo per lui.

"Ci vediamo domani," gli dice, e Nagisa non dice nulla mentre entra nel piccolo spazio ristretto, accovacciandosi a terra. Gli lancia solo una occhiata, e dentro i suoi occhi Sousuke non legge delusione, o rabbia. Ci legge rassegnazione. Fa per andarsene, quando Nagisa gli parla di nuovo.

"Perché ti interessa di me?"

Sousuke si volta a guardarlo. Già, perché? Non è che un piccolo malvivente come altri, dopotutto.

"Non lo so," risponde, e poi si volta di nuovo per andarsene.

Gia, perché gli interessa lo stato di quel ragazzino che vive rubando e prostituendosi? Non ha nulla di diverso dagli altri.

Eppure, quando l'ha visto piangere dopo la cattura, qualcosa gli ha detto che avrebbe dovuto aiutarlo. O almeno, che avrebbe dovuto provarci. Qualcosa gli dice che dovrebbe avere lo stesso sentimento ad ogni arresto, ogni giorno, eppure lo sa che non è così. Non potrebbe essere così, non potrebbe prendersi tutti loro a cuore così. Altrimenti, quasi sicuramente vivrebbe con la testa alla stazione di polizia, e si stancherebbe molto rapidamente della posizione che ha speso così tanto tempo a guadagnarsi. Questo si dice, rigirandosi nel letto.

Il domani si dirige subito verso la cella, trovando Nagisa esattamente dove l'aveva lasciato, tutto raggomitolato che dorme ancora. E nessuno sembra avergli dato una coperta, qualcosa. È così piccolo, tutto appallottolato su se stesso. Sousuke afferra una delle coperte, ed entra nella cella per drappeggiarla attorno a lui con la tentazione improvvisa e inspiegabile di accarezzargli la testa. Invece rimane a guardarlo, con un lieve raggio di sole che lo bagna appena, che splende fra i suoi capelli formando una aureola attorno alla sua testa.

Forse potrebbe lasciarlo qui a dormire ancora un po', in fondo il suo caso non sembra essere una priorità. Potrebbe stare un po' qui a guardarlo dormire - nel sonno, sembrerebbe qualcosa di completamente diverso, di innocente. Non sembrerebbe qualcuno che ha visto alcune fra le cose peggiori della città.

Invece si alza, preparandosi alla solita ronda, poi forse tornerà per mezzogiorno ad occuparsi di lui.

Mentre esce dalla cella, un mugolio si alza dietro di lui, e si volta a guardare mentre Nagisa apre gli occhi piano, guardandosi attorno con l'espressione che cambia subito da quella placida e rilassata che aveva prima. Ora fissa Sousuke con una mezza smorfia, rialzandosi dolorante.

"La prigione fa schifo," dice.

"Beh, perché non è un albergo," Sousuke gli risponde con un sopracciglio alzato. "Se fosse comoda vi fareste tutti arrestare per finire qui."

Nagisa gli lancia uno sguardo di rabbia, prima di scuotere lievemente la testa.

"Wow. Sei proprio uno sbirro come tutti gli altri, eh?"

Sousuke lo guarda, massaggiandosi il collo.

"Vieni, discuteremo il tuo caso."

"No, non preoccuparti, lo discuterò da solo. Perché far perdere tempo ad una persona rispettabile come te per un teppista come me?"

Sousuke sospira, prima di prenderlo per il braccio. Non avrebbe senso, perdere tempo a discutere.

"Dài, andiamo," dice senza perdersi in troppe chiacchiere. Nagisa lo segue, senza dire altro.

E ancora passano svariate ore, in cui Nagisa legge tutte le riviste che riesce a trovare, Sousuke invece lo guarda immaginando l'esistenza che deve aver avuto prima di cominciare a vivere in quel modo. Immagina anche che la sua vita sia sempre stata quella. Rimane comunque un peccato, pensa.

"Comunque sappi che non ho nessuna intenzione di trasferirmi sotto il sole," Nagisa dice alzando gli occhi da una rivista per signore di mezza età.

Sousuke lo guarda accigliato, di nuovo.

"Ma perché?"

"Perché non riuscirei a vivere fra la spocchia. Non mi piace. Non mi piacete. Avete fatto leggi che solo voi potete rispettare. Da me, nei bassifondi, le vostre leggi sono impossibili. Avete deciso di non tenerci in considerazione, allora io non terrò in considerazione voi."

È una linea di pensiero e un sentimento che ha sentito girare costantemente, avendo a che fare con la gente dei bassifondi. Forse è vero, forse la città li ha abbandonati. Eppure, Sousuke si ritrova a premere le labbra assieme. La legge è questa, il suo mestiere è servirla.

"Lascia che ti aiuti, comunque," risponde.

"Perché allora poi ti ripuliresti la coscienza?" dice Nagisa, beffardo.

"No, perché voglio farlo. Non so perché, ma è così," replica Sousuke, davvero scocciato adesso. "Metterò una buona parola per te, e forse ti troveremo un lavoro vero."

Nagisa lo guarda con aria sospettosa, ma sa che se Sousuke avesse voluto abbandonarlo l'avrebbe già fatto ieri. Deve esserci qualcos'altro.

"Okay." E poi, dopo qualche secondo, "grazie."

La porta dell'ufficio principale si apre dopo qualche minuto, e una donna mingherlina fa capolino.

"Yamazaki, portalo qui dentro."

Sousuke guarda Nagisa, e gli porge la mano. Nagisa l'afferra, e poi si alza stropicciandosi gli occhi prima di seguirlo dentro l'ufficio arresti.

E non va così male. Nagisa racconta un po' la sua parte, ma è Sousuke a parlare, a difenderlo. Il suo capo sembra quasi divertito, mentre lo ascolta fare proposte su come Nagisa potrebbe ripagare tutta la gente che l'ha visto rubare qualcosa - anche se, pensa Nagisa, non ha senso il venire puniti per qualcosa che non ha nulla a che fare col crimine per il quale si è accusati, eppure la legge è così, si dice. L'ha sempre saputo, dopotutto.

Finalmente, dopo qualche minuto di trattative, la donna sospira e volge lo sguardo verso Nagisa.

"D'accordo, allora lavorerai nella mensa pubblica per sei mesi e tratterremo il cinquanta percento della paga normale per restituirlo ai negozianti ai quali hai rubato. È la migliore proposta che posso farti. Niente scherzi, niente furti e niente bordello. Se lavori bene, potremo mettere una buona parola per te e farti assumere. Tutto chiaro?"

Nagisa la guarda, poi guarda il poliziotto accanto a lui, piuttosto ammirato dall'interesse che ha dimostrato. Non che la sua opinione sulla polizia sia cambiata, ma forse qualche eccezione potrebbe esserci.

"D'accordo," risponde, poggiandosi contro lo schienale. Con la coda dell'occhio vede Sousuke sorridere per il sollievo, e si domanda come sarebbe, una vita diversa. Non che si illuda di poterla avere, ma se lo chiede lo stesso. Forse potrebbe almeno provarci. Se non altro, qualcuno nella sezione sotto il sole sembrerebbe essere dalla sua parte.

Sousuke gli mette una mano sulla schiena, spingendolo ad alzarsi.

"Avanti, vai a casa dalle tue sorelle. Noi facciamo qualche scartoffia, e tu comincerai domani."

Nagisa non è abituato a ringraziare gli sbirri. Annuisce, abbassando lo sguardo, e poi corre via senza dire nulla. Sousuke lo guarda sparire con un mezzo sorriso, e ignora lo sguardo insistente del suo capo - deve starsi chiedendo perché combattere così tanto per un furfante di strada. In ogni caso, Sousuke non saprebbe comunque come rispondere. Ma vuole credere che funzionerà.

And this place, she breathes magic in it. Every breeze seems to be charged with energy she does not understand, but she knows by instinct that she’s in another world now. The Land of Titania is all around them, yet the Academy doesn’t seem to be anything like the planet it’s in. It’s almost as if it exists in a bubble far away, populated by all sorts of creatures and powerful mages, and she does remember stepping in and all of her hair standing on end from how unfamiliar everything is.

A few days passed, and she could almost say she got used to weird quirky events, to seeing mages conjuring magic and meeting people she never could have imagined.

The teachers and the Director, she's found herself staring at them with so much awe before she saw them practicing any of their magic - their power in potential oozes from the air surrounding them, almost as if she could feel in her veins the sheer power in the space they occupy. It's unsettling, and she tries not to be in their way. Or anyone else's, for that matter. Some strange boy seems to have put his eyes on her, but other than that she seems to go unnoticed in the entire building. And for the first time in a very long while, her heart clenches as she looks at them, people who could be welcoming toward her, but she never learnt how to talk to them.

She's used to being called or being looked at as if she was a monster, but now knowing there are students she could talk to while being confident they would understand her, she doesn't seem to be able to step forward and talk to them.

Sitting in the library with a big heavy book flipped open in front of her, she thinks she's never felt more like a monster than now. A ghost, who can only look at them from the outside, unable to touch them.

She looks down at her hands, for the umpteenth time, wondering. All those other students have nothing in common with humans. They are all something else, and they are all fully that something else. Zira? She's half something, and half something else. Her beastfolk traits are not even coherent with each other - horns, claws, teeth, fur, slits in her eyes. She read a book about the creatures of the Polyverse - one of those defined her as a chimera. A lot of different creatures, heritages clashing together in a way that doesn't make sense. No wonder the humans thought her too weird to look at in any way but wary. She's nothing they've ever seen, after all. Maybe they would have seen her differently had she been something. Something complete, something whole they could put a name on.

Once again, she finds herself curling up on her chair, pulling her hood over her head, clawing softly at her own arms, the words before her blurring without any meaning and a silence that seems to press against her ears.

And yet she should not feel like this. At her lessons, nobody seemed to be bothered by her, by her looks and the space she occupies. It's surprising, how much she wishes they would sit by her right now, talk to her. But on the other hand, she tells herself, she's not here for this. She's here to learn, to train, to gain new abilities she could not learn anywhere else - and she knows full well this is the case, one page off these books has more to teach her than anything she's learnt out there, in all the other Lands. She's here to learn as much as possible, and once she saw magic and what it can do she knows something in her moved. She does have a grasp of some kind of magic, but nothing like what she saw in just a few days here. Maybe she could learn more. Maybe she could learn other ways to fight, feel her own body move, see the world around her.

Silence echoes around her, with only some muttering coming from other students, the sound of old pages being flipped, pens scratching against paper, yawns. She takes a deep breath, and lets the quiet soothe her. That's when she notices the scent inside here - it's not just smell of old paper and the leather these books are bound in, or wood. It's almost sweet. There are flowers in here, of course, but that is not the smell she senses. It comes from every bit of space in the library, like it seeped into every nook and cranny, or like the library is made off that scent. Maybe it's the scent of magic, and that is how she knows the Academy must be the most magical place she's ever been in - when she uses magic to jump between Lands, she never senses this smell. But maybe, the magic is so powerful here that it even gains a smell, a taste, and nobody seems to notice or be surprised by it. It's a pleasant scent, though. It almost reminds her of the Old Man's meals, in some way. It makes her remember even more how weak her magic is. She's all claws and teeth and growling, and none of them are like that.

And right now, she finds herself wanting to stop thinking. How amazing would it be if she could just walk up to one of them, and just talk to them, ask them to train with her? And yet the stares she received her whole life seem to be reflected in their eyes and manners as well, somehow. She thought she would immediately want to talk to someone if they were not humans, but all she does the rest of the evening is just sit there, looking around, trying to read the book and failing.

Finally, she gets up, quietly sneaking out of the library with half a mind to look for that boy. He's the only one who talked to her, he's the only one who seemed to notice her at all. Maybe next time she'll become able to talk to him the way all those other people are. The Old Man kept telling her to learn things a little bit at a time. One step after the other. She nods to herself, with a sigh. One step after the other.

She's free, and what she gains is what she needs. Of course, they have every right to complain - some of them are fathers, some of them are ambitious and need more and not all of them will go on like this for much longer. Some of them have been living like this just as long as her, if not longer, jumping from one day to the other and dilly-dallying while waiting for the next distressed shop owner with a wild pests problem.

But it's none of her business, and she never asked. Mostly, all she dreams of is her next meal, the next job, the next reward. There is no one else to worry about but her.

And mostly, that's what her life always was. She does not remember the Land she came from, but it was probably not worth knowing much about since her parents left quite fast. And she does not exactly remember them either - she was only a newborn baby when the Old Man found her in the middle of the forest. Or so he says.

And she never struggled to understand why they just left her in the wild. It only took looking around at people in the village to know. Their pupils are round. Hers are slits. Their teeth are blocks made for smashing food. Her teeth are long and some of them are thin and sharp, made for tearing. They grow hair, but not fur on their cheeks and their arms and legs like her. They don't have stubs of bushy tails, or horns on their heads. Their nails are fragile and dull; hers are sharp, strong, long, anchored to her fingers and oh, so dirty and impossible to make pretty. She knows why her parents were afraid of her - everyone else seems to be. She's somewhat of Beastfolk heritage, Beastfolk were never seen too favorably among humans, and she mostly sees and walks among humans.

She built a life getting jobs and getting out of there, without lingering too much, and so far she never had much to complain about. She survived past being a kid with nothing but the Old Man's lessons and kindness, and when he deemed her ready to get out on her own she did nothing but nod, collect her things and leave.

And it's been a pretty sweet life. So much time under the shade of trees, looking up to the sky, huddling next to fires in the night, teaming up with hunters briefly and then just leaving when a better job came by, or when they saw her naked. Sometimes, she wonders whether someone would touch her the way they touch each other - she hears them sometimes, the humans, moaning in their homes and seducing each other in the forest. But the only way they ever touched her was with a cold stare, or just barely, getting close enough to know about her but not know too much about her.

Maybe it's the magic, too. Most of them do not know how to disappear in a gust of wind and be transported to completely different places, with completely different people and cities and coins and landscapes. All she knows is the Old Man saw her conjure something with her body as a child, and knew exactly what she was. He taught her how to jump between lands, starting from the areas with the most magic concentration and then slowly teaching her how to follow the paths between Lands. He was a good man. He taught her how to live on her own, how to get what she wanted. He never taught her how to create those paths, between Lands or between her and the humans. He taught her his way of surviving, and his craft was not in making friends. He was a hunter, a man working odd jobs and then leaving for other Lands, she was only following him around and looking at what he was doing. But sometimes she dreams at night, of being touched, of being looked at the way the humans look at each other. Sometimes she spends hours following couples and looking at them. She would lie if she denied some kind of curiosity, about why humans need each other.

She sits under a tree and considers the faint voice she heard in her ears while sneaking up to a wild animals, calling for all young Travelers to learn about all the knowledge Titania has to offer. She only landed briefly a few times in Titania, mostly helping with people's small jobs, moving their possessions from one home to the other, and she only ever heard in passing about the history of Titania's City and Academy, about the Seers and the current one - a boy, strangely. She never cared enough to look into it, to be fair. All of those news always seemed to concern people and beings so far away from her, people who did things she couldn't even dream of doing. But the voice promised knowledge about magic, about fighting. There was something about community, but Zira did not pay it too much mind about that. There is no community she can be a part of, out there anyway.

But the knowledge of magic, of fighting, that is what she thinks about. Being better at those things would help her so much in hunting and working, she would be stronger and those flashes of fear running through her when she comes across a big animal or a bigger person would probably subside.

She thinks about it a bit. She thinks about it a while.

And then she decides it might just be another job, but this time she would be in the lustrious Titania, with food and a place to sleep maybe. She gathers her things - not a lot of them - and closes her eyes, focusing on the last image she remembers of the place while a familiar pit opens up in her stomach. She saw it from afar, but it should not be too hard to reach the Academy from the small village she was in the last time.

When her eyes open again, she takes a long breath for her stomach still gets a bit upset when she travels so far, and this time the space between her and this Land was maybe the widest she's had to cover.

She ended up in the same village she lived in for a few days years ago, and looks around to the people. Nobody seems to notice her too much, and she figures that might be because of all the people that must be popping in every now and then, all heading towards the Academy. She does not smell a lot of excitement in the air, but it's mounting.

The place seems to have changed quite a bit since the last time, but the one thing that seems to have stayed the same is the big Academy, silhouetted against the evening sky. She takes a bite off the chicken leg she brought with her, and pulls her hood above her head before heading towards her first destination. And somewhere in her stomach, a quiet and unknown kind of excitement warms her up.

Note: COW-T10, sesta settimana, m4 e fillo le richieste di memory loss e storia con due finali. L'ho scritta esclusivamente perché mi intrigava la cosa dei due finali (cioè in sostanza c'è l'inizio della storia e poi due finali fra i quali scegliere) e sapevo già come l'avrei postata (con i due cut, intendo), infatti sono contentissima di averla fillata anche se porca eva era da un pezzo che non scrivevo originali. Ma è stata una bella sfida <3

Apre gli occhi col profumo di erba fresca nelle narici, il suono di un frullo d’ali accanto a lui, il sole che trafigge i suoi occhi proprio sopra di lui.

Sbatte le palpebre qualche volta, gira la testa di lato. Attorno a lui solo verde, attorno alla sua vita un paio di braccia. Accanto a lui una voce che non riconosce.

"Eli. Eli!"

Eli. Deve essere il suo nome, dal tono di voce. Si gira a guardare - dietro di lui vede un viso, un viso giovane e bellissimo, occhi chiari e scintillanti, grandissimi per la preoccupazione. Occhi lucidi di lacrime. Eli osserva quel viso più a fondo, mentre un mal di testa si fa spazio fra i suoi pochi, vaghi pensieri.

Labbra schiuse per la preoccupazione, gli occhi verdi che lo fissano come se tentassero di farlo cadere nel proprio sguardo, le orecchie aguzze a punta. Ne tocca una delle proprie - almeno quello è rimasto uguale, è umano. Quello dietro di lui, che lo cinge come fosse qualcosa di prezioso, deve essere un elfo. O almeno deve esserlo per metà.

"Chi sei tu?" Chiede, e quasi vorrebbe risucchiare le parole dentro di sé. L'elfo abbassa lo sguardo, con le lacrime appese ai suoi occhi che finalmente cadono, seguite da altre che rotolano giù per le sue guance morbide e tonde senza più il controllo necessario a trattenerle.

"Sono..." inizia a parlare l'elfo, ma scuote la testa. "Non importa come mi chiamo. Non importa più."

Eli lo guarda a lungo, lo guarda con attenzione, poi si guarda attorno. Ricorda pochissime cose. Ricorda il proprio addestramento da mago, ricorda la sua casa e la sua città, e intuisce che devono essere posti lontani, troppo lontani da qui. E si rende conto di essere stretto fra braccia che non sembrano volerlo lasciare andare, braccia che lo stringono con forza, ma che non sembrano volerlo soffocare.

Sono braccia rassicuranti, la voce e gli occhi e le parole dell'elfo a cui appartengono sembrano portare con sé qualcosa che non saprebbe definire. Ma non sembrano una minaccia. Poggia la testa contro la spalla dietro di lui, la voce dell'elfo col quale si è svegliato lo accompagna, fra singhiozzi e parole che non conosce, in un nuovo sonno che forse potrebbe almeno mettere quel mal di testa dall'intensità crescente a riposo.

Apre gli occhi di nuovo, cullato dal profumo di carne speziata, dalla voce di quello sconosciuto che continua a borbottare parole che Eli non riesce a capire, parole che forse una volta avrà conosciuto, ma che ora hanno lasciato solo un vuoto. Quando l'elfo lo vede smette di mescolare quella che deve essere la cena nel calderone, e si precipita accanto a lui con un sorriso sgargiante, un sorriso che forse Eli non ha mai visto. Deve esserci così tanto che solo l'elfo riesce a ricordare, perché possa sorridere in quel modo. Il petto gli si riempie di ghiaccio all'idea che non sappia da dove nasca, quanti altri possa averne visti, il perché un elfo possa provare così tanta gioia solo guardando lui, un piccolo umano dalla vita breve e insignificante. Non conosce le qualità che possono aver legato un elfo a lui in questo modo, così tanto da fare sì che se ne prenda cura. Ma non dice nulla - è un sorriso troppo bello da commentare, e se dicesse qualcosa forse lo rovinerebbe.

"Forse ho trovato una cura," dice l'elfo, sventolando una pergamena davanti a sé. "Stavo aspettando che ti svegliassi, gli incantesimi sulla mente non si possono forzare."

Eli lo guarda, accigliandosi.

"Una cura per cosa?"

"Oh," borbotta l'elfo, mordendosi il labbro, e poi gli accarezza il viso, con un tocco così morbido e gentile che Eli non può far altro che chiudere gli occhi godendo di quel contatto così dolce. "Giusto. Non puoi ricordare." Stringe il suo viso fra le mani, e lo guarda con una intensità che improvvisamente risveglia la mente di Eli dal tepore del sonno. "In breve, io mi chiamo Cailu. Sono un elfo apprendista incantatore, ti ho incontrato tanto tempo fa ad una battuta di caccia, e da allora abbiamo sempre viaggiato insieme. Ci siamo scontrati con un mago qualche giorno fa, e lui ti ha lanciato un incantesimo dell'oblio. È per questo che non ricordi più nulla. E, come dicevo, forse ho trovato una soluzione. Ho aspettato che ti svegliassi perché gli incantesimi sulla mente non si possono praticare senza che l'obbiettivo voglia che vengano formulati, e quindi devi dirmi di tua volontà se vuoi che provi a ridarti la tua memoria."

Cailu prende un lungo respiro, ruba un po' di tempo al momento, e poi gli occhi gli si inumidiscono di nuovo.

"Ma il contro-incantesimo si può provare una volta sola. Se fallisce... la tua memoria resterà così com'è. Vuota. Vedi, la mente è qualcosa di estremamente delicato. E dall'altra parte, può funzionare solo entro tre giorni dal primo incantesimo, questo è il terzo giorno da quando hai perso la memoria, e al momento siamo persi nella foresta senza una mappa. Il mago l'ha bruciata. Ho voluto aspettare, ché forse un mago sarebbe passato da queste parti e mi avrebbe dato una mano, ma pare che ci siamo solo noi qui intorno. Qualche volta ho dovuto portarti sulle spalle perché delle bestie continuavano a cercare di attaccarti."

Eli rimane a guardare l'elfo con gli occhi larghi, sconvolti. La foresta non sembra un luogo così accogliente, dopotutto.

"Vuoi dire che... mi ricordo a malapena il mio nome, tu puoi provare a ridarmi quello che ho perso ma se fallisci non si potrà più fare nulla?" Ripete, e deglutisce a vuoto quando vede lo sguardo del giovane elfo abbassarsi, e poi sbianca quando lo vede annuire.

"Mi dispiace."

Eli abbassa lo sguardo a sua volta. Si chiede perché, un elfo dovrebbe preoccuparsi di un umano come lui. Forse erano amici. Forse erano altro. Forse vale la pena recuperare quello che ha perso, anche solo per sapere cosa possa spingere un elfo a prendersi cura di lui - cosa lo renda così speciale. E se l'incantesimo dovesse fallire... beh, ci avrebbe provato. E non c'è veramente nessuna alternativa, in ogni caso.

Prende un lungo respiro, e quando espira sente l'aria uscire tremante dalle sue labbra.

"D'accordo. Mi pare non ci sia altro da fare, comunque. Ti sei preso cura di me, quindi credo di non avere scelta: mi devo fidare."

Cailu alza di nuovo lo sguardo su di lui, con una espressione di stupore, e il silenzio si estende fino a quando Eli non lo interrompe.

"Cosa c'è?"

"No, è che... pensavo avresti dubitato un po' più a lungo. Non ti sei mai fidato, della mia magia."

Eli alza lo sguardo, osservando la luce del sole giocare e scintillare fra le foglie sopra di loro. La foresta non sembra essere molto fitta, ma sembra estendersi in tutte le direzioni attorno a loro.

"Non ricordo nulla. Non so quanto potente sia la tua magia, non so quanto potente fossi io, non so nulla. Posso solo fidarmi di te."

Cailu lo guarda con le labbra incastrate fra i denti, e finalmente annuisce.

"Quindi posso praticare l'incantesimo della memoria? Devo chiedertelo."

Eli abbassa di nuovo lo sguardo e lo punta su di lui allargando le braccia.

"Non ho scelta. Quindi... sì, puoi farlo."

Cailu lo guarda a lungo, chiude gli occhi e sospira, forse per portare un po' di calma al suo cuore. E poi torna a guardarlo, annuendo.

I preparativi sono lunghi e minuziosi: Eli siede sull'erba con le mani piantate a terra, gli occhi chiusi come da istruzioni, mentre Cailu gli ripete di spingere qualsiasi pensiero lontano dalla propria mente - Eli non lo trova particolarmente difficile, non in questa foresta silenziosa, con questo tepore primaverile che lo culla e lo rilassa. Cailu invece ripete la stessa stringa di parole di quella lingua che Eli non conosce sottovoce, come per impararle perfettamente a memoria, e finalmente la sua voce si disperde nell'aria lasciando spazio solo al silenzio.

Poi, dopo quelle che sembrano ore, la formula torna a vibrare di nuovo, solo una volta, ed Eli avverte il contatto di due mani ai lati della sua testa. Poi un calore intenso irradiarsi dalle mani e un lampo di luce dietro le palpebre. Sente il proprio corpo afflosciarsi immediatamente, e poi la propria mente scivolare via.

È una bella giornata calda, il sole splende, il primo trimestre è finito e quindi Hajime si ritrova a casa, bagnato dal sole mentre steso sul proprio letto si rilassa con la consapevolezza che mancano ancora due settimane al prossimo giorno di scuola. Ora però fissa il messaggio che gli è appena arrivato per qualche secondo, col sopracciglio alzato. Il messaggio viene, indubbiamente, da Oikawa, quell’idiota. Solo che di solito, insomma, Tooru dimostra una capacità di espressione adeguata alla comprensione immediata senza necessitare di sforzi particolari.

In sostanza, un messaggio del genere non è da lui.

La risposta arriva subito, sfortunatamente non in forma più chiara.

Hajime piega la testa con una smorfia.

Visto che la comunicazione in forma di testo chiaramente non può funzionare, si decide a chiamarlo, e non si trova ad aspettare molto.

"Ah, Iwa-chan, ciao," sente dire, ma la voce di Oikawa suona molto strana. Come se stesse sollevando pesi o qualcosa del genere, solo che chiaramente non può essere così - anche perché insomma, in tal caso non starebbe rispondendo al telefono. Un ragionamento alla volta. "Stavo giusto pensando a te," continua, e Hajime sente un tremolio nel suo respiro.

"Che cazzo vuoi, Oikawa," taglia corto, Hajime, roteando gli occhi al cielo. "Cos'è che stavi cercando di dirmi?"

La voce di Oikawa gli arriva piena di respiri, di esitazioni, e non ci dovrebbe volere molto per capire quale sia la situazione. Hajime fissa il vuoto, spazientendosi ogni secondo di più. Non che sia stupido, ma non ci si è mai trovato in una situazione come questa.

"Ho detto... che stavo facendo una cosa, e... e volevo condividerla con te." La voce di Oikawa gli arriva leggera, coi respiri che si fanno sempre più pesanti, e per qualche motivo Hajime sente qualcosa. Fra le gambe.

"Senti, Oikawa, taglia corto. Che vuoi?" Chiede, perdendo la pazienza con ogni secondo. Certe volte comunicare con Oikawa è come seguire il ragionamento di un pazzo - non sa mai dove si andrà a parare.

"Voglio che tu... continui a parlare," dice Oikawa, la voce ormai fatta di soli sospiri e sussulti. Hajime guarda di nuovo fra le sue gambe, e finalmente si mette in pari con quello che il suo corpo aveva già capito.

"Oikawa... ti stai facendo una sega?"

Dall'altro capo della comunicazione sente solo respiri pesanti e frettolosi, come quelli di un maratoneta che accelera in uno sprint verso il traguardo.

"Oikawa, fai schifo," borbotta, mettendo una mano sul cavallo dei propri pantaloni, saggiandosi e rendendosi conto di essere già diventato duro.

"Mmm," sente dire dall'altra parte. "Iwa-chan, parlami ancora, dimmi qualsiasi cosa." La voce di Oikawa gli arriva strozzata, come se la gola gli fosse diventata stretta.

Non ci vuole molto prima che senta le pulsazioni fra le cosce, prima che la voglia di toccarsi preceda quella di insultare il suo coglione idiota di un ragazzo, e chiudendo gli occhi infila una mano nei pantaloni, si accarezza con le dita, senza dire nulla prende a scivolare con la mano attorno al suo sesso. Non ha fretta, non ne ha mai. In fondo di solito non ci mette molto, a venire, e soprattutto ora ci vorrà ancora meno, con la voce di Oikawa che sospira e strozza i gemiti fra i denti, che lo guida fino a dove vuole arrivare.

"Ti stai... toccando anche tu... Iwa-chan?" Oikawa chiede, e Hajime può quasi vederlo, sdraiato sul proprio letto a fare la stessa identica cosa, e tutto questo lo irrita - che non sia fisicamente lì, che non possa spogliarlo lui con le sue mani immediatamente, che non possa premerlo contro il muro e scoparlo con violenza fino a svuotare i suoi polmoni di tutte le grida che imbottiglia dentro di sé.

"Taci," Hajime borbotta, sentendo già un po' di bagnato sulla punta, e sospira cercando di immaginare che sia davvero così - che Oikawa sia lì in camera sua, col suo cazzo sulla lingua, la sua gola calda attorno a lui. La cosa sembra funzionare immediatamente, le ondate di eccitazione si moltiplicano fra le sue dita, il calore inonda tutto il suo corpo e trattiene il respiro quando vede nella sua mente lo sguardo di Oikawa - quello che gli ha rivolto l'ultima volta che si sono visti e che l'ha guardato mentre lo leccava incastrato fra le sue cosce. Divertito, eccitato, rovente. Come quando batte l'ultimo punto di una partita, quando sa di aver vinto.

Dev'essere anche adesso quella la sua espressione, ascoltando Hajime che viene nella propria mano con un grugnito soffocato, mentre decide di spingersi a venire a sua volta. Hajime lo sente. Sente i suoi respiri accelerare, forsennati, fino al momento in cui si interrompono e poi riprendono, ma suonano più leggeri, sollevati. Hajime tiene gli occhi chiusi un altro po', ascoltandolo respirare con sempre più leggerezza. Nessuno dei due dice nulla, come quando si ritrovano insieme sullo stesso letto a recuperare la sanità di mente dopo l'orgasmo.

"Appena ci rivediamo lo facciamo di nuovo, ma sul serio," si ritrova a dire, gli occhi che si riaprono piano. Gli è bastato solo immaginarlo perché l'eccitazione gli esplodesse fra le mani. Sarà una scocciatura, Oikawa, ma in fondo lo sa da sempre e non l'ha abbandonato mai. Un po' è anche colpa sua.

Hajime spalanca gli occhi. Eh?

"Quale cosa?" Chiede, col calore che pulsa appena nel suo ventre, di nuovo.

"Lo scoprirai," Tooru risponde, e Hajime può sentire una evidente delizia nella sua voce. E poi non sente più nulla, solo il clic della comunicazione che si interrompe.

Rimane così, sdraiato a letto con le dita sporche, il cellulare premuto contro l'orecchio e gli occhi spalancati, però lentamente chiude gli occhi mordendosi il labbro e lascia cadere il cellulare sul materasso.

Si guarda le dita, e poi si siede prendendo un fazzoletto fortunatamente piazzato proprio vicino al letto. Oikawa l'ha reso un disastro di nuovo, e non si può escludere che l'abbia fatto solo per irritare il suo migliore amico.

"Maledetto bastardo," Hajime borbotta sottovoce, sapendo bene che la sua idea di vendetta sarebbe l'idea un'idea piacevole per Oikawa.

Ma la prossima volta lo farà supplicare. Va a lavarsi le mani, e poi si chiude a chiave in camera cercando tecniche di edging e negazione dell'orgasmo online.

Non è certo che Oikawa non gradirà, ma se non altro rimarrà soddisfatto nel sentirlo supplicare.

Non se ne accorge nemmeno, del ghigno che gli piega le labbra.
